Smoking

The NHS is making every effort to stop people smoking and help people stop. They are launching advertisements to help smokers and launching projects within secondary schools to prevent teenagers feeling the need to smoke. However an article I found suggests that smoking is a necessary evil. The taxes collected from the sale of tobacco products helps the British economy immensely. If everyone in the country suddenly decided to do as the NHS the government would loose about 12 billion pounds a year. So the question remains do the government really want people to stop smoking???
